Maplewind Miniatures was founded in 2003 after the purchase of my second horse.  In early 2004, I bought my first filly.  Currently, my string consists of a stallion, a gelding, and two mares.  I am boarding, as I don't yet have my own farm.

It is my dream to start a breeding program and help to refine and promote the miniature horse in Ontario.  Many thanks to Laura Shaugnessy for providing me with wonderful foundation stock, and Judy Bakker for agreeing to train and show Rusty.  Laura's expert tlc has given me two horses with amazing attitudes and temperaments.  Thanks to Judy for teaching me lots about showing this summer and giving Rusty a good start to her show career.  Thanks also to Kim MacLeod for doing a wonderful job of training Prince.  After only two weeks of driving, Prince is already a star, placing in his very first driving class.
