Thunder is my very first horse, and I am very pleased with him.  He has a wonderful temperament and a "look at me" attitude.  He placed in the ribbons at both of the shows he went to in his first show season.  His head is beautifully chiselled and refined.  It is a stamp from his mother, so I have high hopes that he will pass on his gorgeous head to his offspring.  While I have not had him tested, he is likely to be homozygous as both of his parents are also minimal black pintos.

Thunder didn't spend a whole lot of time in the show ring in 2007, but he did quite well while he was there.  However, he did learn how to drive last summer.  Thunder made his driving debut at the Jake Circle K show in June.  He didn't place in the ribbons (against 11 other horses), but he did extremely well for his first time out.  He may just be my new driving horse!
